SPRING FEVER AND GIVEAWAY

My Dear Readers,

With spring bursting out in its usual Atlanta fashion, I'm reminded of Easter, new births, and just plain ole spring fever. Do you get it too? I find this is one of the hardest times for me to stay indoors parked in front of my computer writing...and you know how I love to write. But spring calls to me, to clean out, spruce up and beautify surroundings or plant annuals. But I have to prioritize my work and chores. So I write lists and try not to stray from the immediate things I have to do between the things I'd like to indulged in instead.

I do have a title for my new booking releasing in January 2014 for the series Virtues and Vices of the Old West. Book one will be entitled The Trouble with Patience. It really does suit the storyline of a  x-vigilante sheriff coming to grips with his past and a virtuous woman who is draw to him despite their obvious differences and personalities. Forgiveness is the key word here and as I think about it, all my books are based on this theme in one way or another. This story was a blast to write, and I've already started on book two of the series.

With that in mind, I'd like to give away The Book Lover's Journal. If you're an avid reader who likes to make notes of favorite books you've read, then this is perfect for you! Write and tell me what's you're favorite thing to do when springtime rolls around. Are you bursting with energy or a slug that needs a few extra hours of sleep and would rather be reading? We'll select a winner but you must subscribe or be a subscriber to my blog to be entered. It's just that simple. So hop right in like the Easter bunny and share your thoughts.

I hope you have a blessed Easter Sunday and celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord who gave His life so that we should have life everlasting.Hallelujah, He is Risen, He is Risen indeed!

I'll be looking forward to reading your answers. Please share your friends that No Place for a Lady is a free Kindle download for a period of time. It continues to be one of my well-loved stories. Here's the link. http://tinyurl.com/kkva4ep.

God bless you and keep you until next time!

Hi Maggie, I love your books, they are always such a blessing!
To be honest I am kind of in between when spring comes around. I enjoy cleaning and getting things ready, but I also love sitting outside/inside with a good book.
Sometimes the book wins out of the two.:)

Lindsay, I can so relate to that.
It's hard to put a good book down.
Have a blessed Easter!

I'm torn when Springtime rolls around - part of me wants to get the closets cleaned out & all the winter stuff put away (especially after this year where we saw snow into April!). The other part of me wants to be outside either planting a garden or reading a book in the sun.

SPRING! It is my favorite time of the year. I love the peeking of the shades of green after the drab of winter. Flowers are blooming in a rainbow of colors. Birds are singing and nesting. I love being outdoors with all the natural beauty and adding some new plants, also. God paints a canvas like no other artist, and I am in awe it. I feel so refreshed this time of year.

My favorite thing is to plant beautiful flowers in my flower beds and on my porch! Love all the colors of spring!

My favorite thing to do in the spring is to walk in the woods and watch for the wildflowers coming into bloom. I love watching for my bulbs to bloom around the property, too. I leave them to overwinter so they multiply and multiply and there are always a few surprises. :)

EJ, I have need to clean out closet too. Thanks for stopping by.

Thank you Patricia. I'm trying to blog more and engage my readers. Thanks so much for stopping by. I love spring but hate this bad tornado weather we are currently having in Atlanta. :(

Hi Maggie! Our Georgia spring has been beautiful (as you know!), and my azaleas are still covered in blooms (a coral shade--SO pretty).
My favorite spring activity is enjoying my wide front porch (it stretches across the front of our house). I love sitting on it and reading, especially when the birds are chirping and a gentle breeze is stirring. So very relaxing (when I can "ignore" the indoor chores for a while, LOL).

I so enjoyed meeting you last summer at RWA and sharing a meal at Chick-fil-a. Hope to see you again before too long!
Blessings, Patti Jo :)

I love the idea of a book journal! I've never seen that. While I love spring and the flowers and warmer weather, where I live (in southern Africa) it's autumn. I'm so thankful the weather is cooler, and I'm loving the colors of the leaves that are changing!

Patti Jo, it was nice to meet and have lunch with you too! Hope we meet up again soon!Hugs!

Lisa, I'm so behind responding-sorry! I had no idea it was autumn in southern Africa! That's my favorite time of year! Thank you for stopping by. :)
